Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how CCasinos.com uses cookies and similar technologies on the Canadian version of the site. The current setup uses CookieYes for consent management, Google Analytics 4 for optional analytics, Google reCAPTCHA on forms, Cloudflare for delivery and security, and WordPress for publishing and administration.
CCasinos.com does not currently set a first-party affiliate tracking cookie before redirecting a reader to a casino or other partner site. Once you reach another website, that site’s own cookie and tracking practices apply.
What the site stores and why
A cookie is a small piece of data stored by a browser. Similar technologies can remember a preference, maintain a secure session, help distinguish legitimate traffic from automated abuse, or measure how a site is used. On CCasinos.com, the useful distinction is between storage needed to operate, protect or remember choices and optional analytics used to understand site use.
CookieYes may store or record consent preferences so the site can remember the choice shown in the consent interface. Google reCAPTCHA helps protect forms against automated abuse and spam. Cloudflare provides delivery and security functions and may process technical information or use security-related technologies to manage traffic. These functions are not treated as advertising simply because a browser stores or receives technical data.
Restricted WordPress administration areas may use authentication and preference cookies for authorized editors. Those areas are not public reader accounts, and the cookies used to keep an editor signed in are different from optional public analytics.
Exact cookie names and durations can change with provider settings, browser behaviour and implementation updates. We do not publish a guessed reCAPTCHA version, Cloudflare cookie name or lifetime. When exact identifiers matter, the live CookieYes interface or scan should be treated as the current inventory rather than a static list copied into this page and left to become stale.
Optional analytics and your choice
Google Analytics 4 is used to understand website use. Depending on consent and configuration, GA4 may process online identifiers, page and event information, device and browser information, approximate location and traffic-source information.
Analytics cookies and related optional storage are controlled through CookieYes. You can accept or reject optional analytics through the available preference controls. We do not claim that every Google data flow is technically blocked before consent unless that behaviour has been separately verified on the live site.
Analytics helps us understand how the editorial website performs and which content is used. It does not create a casino account, and CCasinos.com has no public reader-account system. Rejecting analytics also does not prevent you from choosing to send a contact or newsletter form.
Forms, affiliate links and other websites
Submitting a contact or newsletter form is an action you choose to take, separate from the decision to allow optional analytics cookies. Contact submissions are managed with FluentCRM in WordPress and protected by Google reCAPTCHA. Newsletter signup is also managed through FluentCRM, but an ordinary contact message does not automatically subscribe the sender to marketing.
We do not claim that newsletter signup itself creates a newsletter cookie unless a live scan confirms one. The important event is the submission of subscription information and the resulting subscriber record, which is covered in more detail by the Privacy Policy.
Affiliate links create a separate boundary. CCasinos.com redirects you to the relevant operator or destination URL without setting a first-party affiliate tracking cookie before departure. The destination may then use its own cookies, analytics, advertising or affiliate tracking under its policies.
Changing CookieYes preferences on CCasinos.com does not remove cookies already placed by another site. If you return from a casino or other external destination, that third party’s storage remains subject to its own controls and your browser settings.
Changing choices, retention and contact
Use the CookieYes preference control, where available, to change optional cookie choices. Browser settings can also delete or block cookies. Blocking necessary storage can affect preference memory, forms or security functions, while rejecting optional analytics should not prevent ordinary reading of the site.
Some cookies exist only for a browser session; others persist until a defined expiry or until you delete them. The lifetime depends on the provider, purpose and current configuration. CCasinos.com does not invent exact durations that have not been confirmed, so the current CookieYes inventory and provider documentation should be used for live names and lifetimes.
A cookie preference is not the same as every privacy right you may have. Canadian privacy rules can depend on the activity and province. The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada explains the federal PIPEDA framework and notes that Alberta, British Columbia and Quebec have substantially similar private-sector privacy laws for many within-province activities.
We may update this policy when the site’s analytics, consent, security, form or publishing setup changes. Questions about cookies or consent can be sent to info@CCasinos.com. Questions about personal information more broadly belong under the Privacy Policy, which explains service providers, retention, rights and Canadian complaint routes.
